Chicago: Poetry, Prayer, and Other Vague Words – A Conversation with Rachelle and Isabel
Join soulcare specialist Rachelle Mee-Chapman and humanist poet Isabel Abbott as they share how blessings, poems, and right-fit practices are a part of their unique, yet overlapping experience of living on this earth as humans. Both authors will ask curious questions of the other, read from their new books, Religish and Salt + Honey, and answer questions from their guests. This event will be held in a private loft in Wicker Park, Chicago. Click here for free registration.
Join Twozdai Hulse and Rachelle Mee-Chapman as we pay attention to what we are being called to harvest, by stepping into the Autumn Equinox together with art and soul! During this gathering we will:
-Learn some of the traditional symbols and themes of the medicine wheel associated with the autumnal season.
-Awaken our seasonal senses with a cacoa ritual.
-Listen for guidance as we journey with the drum into a meditative state. (Beginners welcome- introduction to journey provided!)
-Commemorate the messages received on our journeys with an art project – a beautiful mobile calling in all you need for the fall season.

Come find me in the Practice Tent, Saturday July 9th at 5pm. I’ll be helping folks create right-fit religish rituals that work in daily life. My soulsister Christy LaFrance-Willimason will be performing, and Heidi Marie Gardner and I will be offering hands-on blessings and anointing at the close. Plus find me throughout the weekend for cards, coloring, and conversation! Best way to connect during the festival? @magpiegirlrachelle on twitter #wgf2016
