Hello, friend. I’m Rachelle Mee-Chapman. I provide care for creative souls.
After thirty years in the church, I said good-bye to religion. Tossing in the towel and moving to Copenhagen, I blogged my way through my spiritual shift, all the while watching eight dark magpies hop past my studio window.
“Eight for a wish…” says the old nursery rhyme. And I was wishing… for a new way, for a new home, for a new tribe. Through wishing, wandering, and blogging, I found my way to becoming a life coach and spiritual director for creative souls. In 2010 I founded an online soulcare community for religish women, Flock, and a few key wishes came true.
Now, back in Seattle, I gather people who are creating their right-fit lives, and give them a place to call home — both online and through local gatherings.
My professional chops include a BA in Philosophy from Seattle Pacific University and a MCS in Spiritual and Applied Theology from Regent College, Vancouver B.C.
Although I’m no longer ordained with the Vineyard Association of Churches, I do have a piece of paper from the Universal Life Church which lets me officiate weddings for friends—which I do with personality and aplomb!
I’m also the proud mama of two creative young women, and wife to a very patient husband. We live in a 100 year old house with one very fluffy dog, where we’ve gathered a small circle of trusted partners-in-life who hold us dear and inspire us through.
We direct part of our religish tithe to our charity of choice in Haiti, Papillion Enterprises—orphan prevention through artisan job creation. It’s a stunningly creative program filled with art and soul. If you’d like to help, you can shop at papillion-enterprise.com or donate at apparentproject.org.
It takes a lot to create a right-fit revolution, friends. So let’s stick together as we find our religish way in this world! Join me in Flock, take sneak peek at each other’s sacred lives through Instagram, and share the magic and the mayhem on Facebook.
Let’s hold hands!
